In September 2022, we invited the world to believe in an extraordinary dream. Today, Ethan has fulfilled two of the biggest milestones of that vision by becoming the World's Youngest International Master followed by one of the World's Youngest Grandmasters. The journey now continues towards the ultimate dream of becoming the World Chess Champion.

A Promise Made. A Promise Kept.

In September 2022 we launched Ethan's crowdfunding campaign with a bold vision: to help a remarkably talented 11-year-old pursue three ambitious goals — become one of the world's youngest International Masters, become one of the world's youngest Grandmasters, and ultimately compete for the World Chess Championship.

2022 Vision

Become one of the world's youngest International Masters.

Ethan's Journey

September 2022
Crowdfunding campaign launched with the vision of becoming one of the world's youngest IMs and GMs, and ultimately World Chess Champion.
2023
Became a FIDE Master while continuing to represent India internationally.
January 2024
Became the World's Youngest International Master.
2024–2026
International medal tally increased from 15 to 30 while competing across Asia, the Commonwealth and the World.
June 2026
Became India's Youngest Grandmaster and one of the world's youngest Grandmasters.

Becoming a Grandmaster was never the destination. The vision has always been to help Ethan realise his fullest potential and pursue the World Chess Championship.

Competing against the world's strongest players requires international tournaments, elite coaching, preparation, travel, accommodation, physical conditioning and continuous professional development.

Every contribution helps create opportunities for Ethan to continue learning, competing and proudly representing India.
